Time's Cumulative Suggestion List

Forums

  1. Add a Marketplace section on the forums, I see we have one in discord, but I know some people don't use discord and it can also get lost in the chat. It would be nice for players (especially those trying to sell a large volume of items) to have a place to list everything for sale.

 

Game

  1. Change a few of the achievements, some are just ridiculous for an rsps.
    • Cut 5000 magic logs --> cut 2500 magic logs (to match the burn achievement)
    • Craft 8000 blood runes --> craft 2500 blood runes (as even at 99 it's only 1 rune per essence)
    • Steal 5000 scimitars --> Steal 1000 scimitars (Thieving stalls is slow and painful already, nobody wants to steal 5000 times)
    • Mine 2000 runite ores --> Mine 1000 runite ore (to match the bars achievement)
  2. Allow certain points items to be sold back at a 25 or 50% amount of the original cost. The biggest way to make this system work, as i'll try to outline in a few of the examples below, is the removal of SOME non-exclusive items to be removed from the shops, and to not allow untradable items to be sold back. There could also be the inclusion of some new items specific to the shops being added, to offset the items that need to be removed.
    • Trivia Points shop would be a good one if Gilded Armor, Dragon Bones, Rocktails, Overloads, Caskets, and Ring of Wealth was removed from the shop (as these items are fairly common to get elsewhere and would give an influx of trivia points).
    • Vote points shop would work if Overloads, Super Combat Potions, Robin Hood Hat, Ranger Boots, Amulet of Fury, Dragon Boots, and Crystal Keys were removed. Blood Necklace could be removed or significantly decreased in Vote Points, as it's only worth 2B. Also changing Charm Box to 2 points, or removing from vote points shop would work.
    • Both Boss Points and Blood Money Shop should not be allowed to have items traded in, as there are too many monster/minigame drop items in this section, it would crash the value of blood money AND the items within the shop.
    • Donator shop should also be unable to use this feature due to the amount of items you can earn in-game within the shop, unless you were able to limit the feature to super rares/donator scrolls.
    • Mini-game shops would work fine with this feature for items specific to the mini-game (such as Void in Pest Control)
  3. If the proposed implemented system above was not added to the game, I have another batch of suggestions.
    • Decrease Blood Necklace vote points needed to purchase OR remove it completely from Vote Points Rewards, nobody is going to spend 500 vote points for a 2B item.
    • Remove Ranger Boots, Dragon Boots, Amulet of Fury and Robin Hat from Vote Rewards and replace with the colored Robin Hood Hats and the other Recolored Sets of Infinity Robes.
    • Remove Gilded Armor from Trivia Points shop (as it's very common in Crystal Keys) and instead add Ancient God Rune Armor Set.
    • Change the Trivia points for colored Robin Hood Hats from 256k (lol wtf) to 15-20 points.
    • Remove Glacor Boots, Bandos, DFS, and Armadyl from Donator Points Shop and replace with something different as these items take up space in the shop and likely almost never get bought.
  4. Adjust the price of Adamant Bars, they're listed at 300K coins in the ironman shop, which causes them to sell for 262K into general store (as certain bosses drop large stacks of these, and they're not hard to make, this can be an issue for easy GP)
  5. Add the Following items to the Ironman Store:
    • Dragon Longsword for 500K GP (And Remove Rune Scimitar)
    • Basic Elemental Staffs
    • Maple Logs (As shop has Adamant Bars)
    • Iron Armor Set
    • Wizard Robes
    • Leather Chaps and Body
    • Rune Hatchet (As shop has Rune Pickaxe)
  6. Improve Goodie Bag loot, it decreases the value of gaining achievements as the rewards are so poor from it. Perhaps having different tier goodie bags would help as well. One for each achievement difficulty tier (higher tiers have better goodie bag items)
  7. Award players for reaching 200M xp in a skill with something. Whether you implement 200M XP capes (use level 120 capes), or award something along the lines of a mystery box or goodie bag.
  8. Make more farming patches available for use (Currently only the Falador patches are usable), make the other teleport locations usable, and add fruit tree patches, regular tree patches, etc.
  9. Fix the graphics for Marble and Magic cape racks (they both look the same, and they show up blue where they should be white/textured).
  10. Increase stats for Completionist cape to BIS, it's a crazy achievement and it should be rewarded as such.
  11. Add command ::deposit for Extreme Donators, the command could implement the deposit box feature of runescape, allowing you to deposit items into your bank but not withdraw any.

I agree with majority of the suggestions here. I agree that goodie bags need to be improved because they were fun to get for the achievements but after a while all the loot was trash.
